The Commercial Jargon Blah Blah Blog:

Weed through the all the Commercial Real Estate “lingo” and get the facts from Commercial Jargon, a blog dedicated to Commercial Real Estate enthusiasts and finding the trends in the market.

We all know jargon is gibberish, a language or dialect that seems incomprehensive or outlandish; often hybrid grammatical terms or lingo containing meaningless expressions and cross-references.  It’s like watching the news or CNBC, complete madness of mixed messages about the economy, politics, and flat out rubbish.

Since the Lehman Brothers 2008 crash, investors have learned to be skeptical of cosmetic accounting gimmicks, an unfortunate characteristic of property and portfolio valuations.  Needless to say, the recovery from the 2008 crash has been slow and brutal.  Mixed messages of our economy have been maddening, and the commercial real estate industry has been constantly hanging as the “next shoe to drop.”

It’s no secret the Commercial Real Estate industry is on the brink, but will it actually crash? Or is it time to jump in and take a swim with the sharks.  Now more than ever; in this fast changing, confusing, turbulent market, investors and commercial real estate professionals need to stay tuned into a wide variety of commercial real estate topics and jargon.
